Jean and I get together from time to time - while she is in Iowa during pleasant weather. Then she heads south. It is always fun to see her - and we have pondered going to conferences - but have decided that we are going to let that activity go. Letting things go, due to age related issues, isn't exactly fun - but, I realized that it is easier to do it together. So, if you need to join our Not Anymore Club - let me know.
I have quite a few Not Anymores - and to tell you the truth - it can be freeing to just make the declaration and get on with things. It's also nice to be excited about the things we are still doing - like entering work in the state fair. I don't do that - but Jean does -- and this year she was delighted to win a Red Ribbon -
way to go Jean. She is also exploring watercolor for the first time.
Starting something new is one of the perks of joining the Not Anymore Club. To stop doing something - frees up time and energy to do something new.
