JeanR had a birthday in July. She has been getting a round stamp each month and the HAPPY stamp was the logical one to use for a birthday greeting. I didn't plan this out at all other than a quick set of circles done by penciling around a roll of masking tape. As usual, it was cute enough to send, but a little rough around the edges.
I tried a couple more envelopes with the idea of the two overlapping circles. I even took time to dig out a compass. Perhaps it would be better if the two circles were slightly different sizes. Was it better? Would a second and third attempt be better because things tend to get better when I've done some practicing? Or did I lose all the freshness and spontaneity? We'll find out tomorrow.
