These were the first four I started for the July exchange. I thought the stamps would be nice with the gray envelopes and white is always nice on gray. it seemed like a good idea to get out the white gouache and the wedge brush. I didn't have anything in front of me which was a mistake. I need some examples of something I like when I have been away from brushes and gouache for so long.
I'll refrain from nit-picking at each one and just say that I like the August idea to use up these stamps a lot better. Not that they inspired a design idea. I just like a very wonky style of lettering that I found whilst surfing.
