Penmanship with Lyric (No. 4)

With copperplate shapes, you really can't speed up. Creating the symmetrical shapes does not happen quickly.

Italic and Spencerian are better choices for writing faster and developing a rhythm. Notice the pressure and speed on the downstrokes. The upstrokes are also quick, but lighter (less pressure).

    This is interesting.

    Compared to the speed that I currently write, looks like italic is sllllooooow. Of course perhaps I need to alter the kind of notes I take. I usually try to get every word (which isn't practical)
