I finally found a blue that was closer to the stamp - but this one seemed a little wimpy.
I went bolder with Maggie's but can't say that it was going in a direction that seemed promising.
Tomorrow - we will finish up with the rest of my Aug envelopes. I finally hit on something that was fun. As I mentioned at the beginning of this series, I'm pretty sure I will like everyone else's better. The important thing is that I had fun and it was a welcome break from painting walls, ceilings and woodwork - my summer project.
Shout out to Janet for the idea to put borders around the stamp. Although this one probably doesn't add anything to the overall design.
