June from Judi - Brenda's mailbox

Judi's June envelope was square and she knew that squares need extra postage and went with the 2-Forever solution. The items in the envelope were smaller than the envelope so you can see that the machines did some crumpling. The booklet gave the mailing enough heft that it made it through fine.

The color pallet is one of my favorites and drawing patterns is one of my favorite activities. I keep thinking I can lure my grandkids into patterns. I should probably stop trying. Hopefully I can take the mandala concept and morph it into a rectangle.

The mandala patterns complement the Ruth Asawa stamps.

Brenda Walton came up with a fun idea for her mailbox. She shows all the steps in her video of painting it to look like a stamp. It might be a reel on IG. I'm not sure how IG reels work. It seems like they disappear after 24 hours. Here is a close up. I wonder if her house number is 5. When I lived in St. Paul, my house number was 6. I remember when asked for my address and I said 6 Susan Ave - it was not uncommon for people to assume I was kidding around and I would have to convince them that it was an actual address.

If her house number is not 5 - maybe this is not on the front of her house. It would be confusing to have a big 5 on the front of your house if that was not your house number.

I feel like I need to explore this idea for my son's house. He could use a new mailbox.

@brendawalton  - if you want a bunch of easy ideas in a style that is MaryEngelbreitish.
