Nanski's envelope is a very clever interpretation of the image on the card that was in the envelope. There were a couple posts about these trolls as well as my interpretation of the hand lettering on the artist's website.
Nanski went all the way to Ireland to see three of the Thomas Danbo trolls. Maybe she had other business in Ireland....but, I'm guessing the trolls were the high point of the trip.

We were able to see the Beard Fisher Troll this summer in Upper Peninsula Michigan. Definitely a highlight!
