Janet still has some Lichtenstein stamps. Those were so much fun. I wonder if we are going to get any stamps with reproductions of artwork in 2026. The only one I can think of for 2025 was Goodnight Moon which is illustration - not exactly artwork. Am I forgetting any others - Keith Haring? Was that 2025 or 2024? Art stamps are always fun - and the more graphic the better.

Onward with the baby arrival story. I should ask everyone to submit their baby arrival stories - most of the time there is something unexpected that happens. Does anyone ever say - The baby arrived, it was no big deal. Actually, I do know someone who said that. But it was such a relief - because she had that unfortunate condition where she spent 9 miserable months with all-day-sickness - not just morning sickness - so she deserved a quick and easy arrival.
Anyhow - kitchen baby was a week late and 9lbs 2 ozs. That is too big. My blood pressure went way down and stayed down and that might have been why I got to stay longer in the hospital. When I was finally ready to go home, MrWilson picked us up - and when we got home - all the grandmas and grandpas were enjoying the delicious food that my neighbor had brought over.
I remember standing in the doorway looking at them and wondering why they were eating my food....when the phone rang. It was the hospital. A stern voice told me I HAD TO come back to *check the baby out.* I had been discharged, but I was oblivious to the fact that different people discharge your baby. It had occurred to me that they had not given me the big bag of free stuff that you get with a baby....but, I just wanted to leave while the baby seemed content.
I told the person on the phone that I had just fed the baby, he was asleep, and there was no way I was dragging him back to the hospital. Her counter offer was that I could just come back and sign the papers on my own. OK, I could do that.
So, I left my loved ones, eating my food, and drove myself back to the hospital where they left me sitting on a bench in the hall for far too long. I've always regretted driving back to the hospital. I wish I would have told them that somebody needed to make a house call. I wonder how that would have gone.
Feel free to submit your fun baby arrival stories.
