Here is an example of how I can make friends with a problem. The shade of green is hard to pair with stamps. I did the flowers while I was on my trip in Chicago with limited art supplies. It took a long time and I was liking it - but there were no stamps that worked. When I found that 2-cent stamp - I realized that some turquoise dots might be just the thing to tie it together - so - I tried it and it's fine. One of the flowers is too white - which bothers me. But, it was fine as something to put inside another ho-hum idea. Do two ho-hum envelopes make up for the ho-hum-ness? With Rachael - it's a lot about ideas. Some of the things she sends are not her favorites - but they inspire me. So it might work in the other direction.
Chartreus. Wow. I nailed that spelling on the first try. That's the official name of those envelopes. I checked Paper Source to see if they had discontinued that color. They have not.
Ho-hum below -- but sometimes I'm OK with pale, frothy colors.
