March from Troy - thank you

This arrived from Troy - in March. It has the new international stamp which I love and am looking forward to buying. This design only works with my short address. I wonder what he did on the people with long addresses. Originally, I had this post on hold for orphaned envelopes - but the orphans seem to have gone AWOL. We might have to put up with a very short blurb today. Or, if something interesting pops up - we have space to add on.

A big THANK YOU to all the people who sent birthday greetings. I'm so far behind on sending thank yous.  I'm back to my yearly battle with the weeds. That retirement high rise is looking a lot more attractive all the time.....

This is a re-run. I was looking for an idea for Meg Pemberton - and clearly this is perfect - snd then I forgot I had this and did something else. I should get more of these stamps if they are still available.

  1. I asked my post office about older stamps. They said that they get sent back(to where I'm not sure. Is there a stamp heaven? Is there one place that has all the former stamps that creates all the new stamps? ). There are so many of the gone stamps that lended themselves to envelope art that I wish I could still get at the post office. My little local post office has a vault that they keep stamps in. Are there just too many to keep a few extra sheets of past stamps? Or am I just a stamp fanatic? 🤔
