Two more valentine themed envelopes. I am only 12 days ahead on getting my blog posts prepared - and have a few too many irons in the fire. Let's see how many posts I can crank out in a half hour.
Around the first of the month someone left a comment and described that kitten stamp as *creepy.* I, too, think it's leaning towards creepy - although I'm sure the artist was going for *cute.* It reminds me of the big-eye-Keene people from the 60s. Maybe it's a nostalgia thing.
I wonder what the least liked stamp of all time was. I should delete that question because the likability of stamps is so subjective.

These two ladies (Barbara Getty and Inga Dubay) launched an effort to promote italic penmanship as an alternative to Zaner-Bloser. The company is still around and you may find tons of info on the website. I wish they had been able to sweep the nation - but - they started in Portland - and I think it's pretty hard to sweep the US with something that isn't wildly interesting to probably 95% of the population.
If you are part of the 5% - dive in: https://handwritingsuccess.com/about/
Through that website - I found another group that's very interesting if you are curious about penmanship on 5 continents
Primarium is a pioneering educational project by TypeTogether which studied the methods of Latin script-based handwriting instruction for primary school children, spanning five continents and about one-quarter of the world.
