Sydney has only exchanged a few times. This looks like some kind of printing - the kind of printing where the person makes a plate - not something you have printed or find already printed by machine. While the stamp looks like red and white - there is a tiny bit of pink. The way Sydney switched the color of the envelope design to blue and red - and then kept a tiny bit of pink makes this a very successful piece of mail art. And then, if you count - there are 5 rectangles. I'd be very curious to hear Sydney's thought process as this envelope evolved. Although, it's hard to know if anyone can remember what they were thinking when they arranged elements - or chose colors - or figured out the balance of anything. That's the fun for me - when my mail arrives - I often ask, "What was the thought process that ended up here?" I ask that - even though I know that sometimes - we don't really think about what we are doing. I'm rambling - because I was going to fill 5 posts and I am only at 3 and I'm not sure I should even try for 4. Is this going to be a cliffhanger???

Love that envelope and the way ot turned out. I'd love to do block printing, but don't really want to go down the road of more art supplies!
