keith

this is the first in a series of a collaborative project. kathy and i made 50 cards and envelopes and sent them to keith when he turned 50. then we did not hear from him for a really long time. this is a random one out of the middle of the stack. i did the lettering and kathy chose stamps. i have never seen all of them with their stamps. care to comment kathy?

  1. of the fifty, jean selected most of the stamps and i chose a few...well...i thnk it was that way. mostly i did the 50 cards. keith was to open them in order because some of the cards were sequentially lettered notes such as happy birthday.

jean's art flies from her pens...witness this blog.

keith told me once that occasionally he will take the lot out and set them in order on his DR table.

the 60 jean did for me are treasured, too. receiving great multiples of hand made envelopes evokes childhood birthdays, awe and, uniquely, feeling cherished.

  2. i don't think i chose that many stamps because there were a lot of stamps that i love so much i would have not parted with them. clearly they came from your stash.
