there should be one more tulip if i keep digging. this one is just a little rectangle and then i give the zig zag top to the flower when i outline it. the overall shape of some tulips is rather boxy. so, they do look a bit like tulips. nobody would mistake them for daisies.
all three of these are done with markers. do the marker first, then outline. they look better with the little gaps and white spaces, imho.
