last week, i mentioned how nice a horizon line is for starting a composition. i should review all of david's envelopes and see if any of them are not landscapes. then go to his books and see if they are all landscape-ish. i remember when i taught children that they were always agreeable to drawing landscapes. drawing an interior landscape is also fun, where the floor is the horizon line.
