how many ways can you spell schneider

i don't know what style of lettering this is. my apologies to the traditionalists. long stemmed *something* would be a good name for it. i get as many ideas for lettering off fonts as out of lettering books. this was probably inspired by a font.

  1. Ernst Schneidler legend? Jacqueline Svaren has a pen-written version of it in her book *Written Letters.* One would almost think you'd chosen it on purpose just to see if anyone would notice you were doing a Schneider in Schneidler.

  3. You're very welcome:-) And here I was so sure you were going to say, "You guessed it - you win the Blue Legend Badge!" Of course, now I will never feel certain of my spelling when I send Kathy a letter, but she doesn't at all seem to mind the variations.

  5. Okay, then here's what we should do: if anyone hanging out on this blog needs traditionalist spelling, just leave it to me. And, since I haven't mastered non-traditionalist naming and spelling yet, but greatly admire it, I will defer to you and Jean in all those matters.

glen epstein taught a similar back-leaning legend
it is cool with long curves at the baseline and fun to write
similarly, i think cheryl jacobsen has a bothic cursive she uses
    anyone know what bothic is?
