cathy fine lines

this came from my mississississippi rep, miss cathy. i furshur will not be able to top it.....unless i just do more of what she did...and i really like this amount of name to envelope....so, cathy wins this round. it's good to know that there are others who are not afraid to leave some white space.

  1. That is excellent - a very clever, subtle and intricate design. Has the simplicity of eastern design, yet looks complex on closer inspection.

  2. This is a simple and elegant envelope. Your "Jean" might be prettier than the actual stamp

  4. I do think this stamp doesn't scan all that well, and looks much better in person. Cathy, did you have it hand-franked at the post office?

    1. I canceled it myself. I usually just tuck my uncanceled envelopes into the already canceled mail to see what happens.

  5. Finnbadger. You can get that nice round hand cancel stamp if you wait in line at the PO, but you usually get the bar code no matter what line you wait in. We are one of the last PO that will still do this. It's really nice for Wedding invite and crazy envelope freaks.

  6. I like the rush of letting my envelopes make their way through the system on their own :) A bit masochistic, I know!
