quick tutorial

ruth just emailed me and asked how to get thicks and thins with a gel pen. the first *ruth* shows how you just write it once and then on the *r* i added a line on either side of the down stroke. i would do the same to all the rest of the down strokes.

on the lower *ruth* i did the *r*, marked stroke 1. and then i added stroke 2, giving the down stroke width. then i did the first part of the *u* in two strokes, and so on. on the *h*, i filled it in. the rest of the spaces need to be filled in. but this gives you an idea of one way to make thicks and thins with a gel pen. black on kraft paper will fill in better than white.
