kelly's (top) looks like a resist. it is very cool. maybe she will post in the comment section and tell us how she made it. i like the stamp choice a lot. that has been a very versatile stamp. i should load up on them.
elizabeth-w has a set of hand carved rubber stamps with her monster letters so she stamped the name and bats and cat. i still have my stamp carving tool. it is taking a lot of self-control to not dig it out and start carving again.

these ideas could be updated to valentines by making the spider web into a lacy valentine and changing the bats and cats into hearts - and doing something punny with the mummy.
