In May, I invited some of the regular exchangers to do an extra mailing to the BigHelpfulBrother who was observing a type of birth-day.
He does not usually celebrate the date on the calendar, he looks for other interesting numbers and in May he was hitting 26,000 days - since his actual birth.
His wife Nancy has a birthday in May and her sister Kakie has a birthday in June and Nancy and Kakie's mother, Viola, who turned 100 in February was having some health issues - so I tossed out all 4 of them as good candidates for some happy mail.
I suggested just one envelope - with 4 greetings inside - but some people went ahead and did 4 envelopes. As you may recall, back in May, we were still pretty much under lockdown - so some people had plenty of time for happy mail.
I am writing this on Memorial Day weekend and things are starting to open up. It will be interesting to see - when this pops up in August - how things are going.
I really like CathyO's card - and the Del Matro crew liked their mail, a lot.
