Exchanger Thomas

Once again it would be fun to know more about this one - like the materials and the tools.

There is a layer of something raised and shiny on the flower that may not show up in the scan.

Very pretty.

  1. Thank you, for posting another one of my envelopes!
The flower is "painted" with an automatic pen double loading water colors. It's all pen manipulation, twisting and turning....The "shiny" on the different parts of the flower is diamond glaze. Just gives it that wet look and a little texture being raised.
Your first name was done with the same automatic pen as the flower, but in the lettering style "button alphabet". It was a an alphabet Peter Thorton was penning for something on buttons and that's how it got it's name. Then of course I just mix in mono-line and pointed pen variation just because I can.. :-)
Oh, the ink for "Jean" is walnut with aztec gold pearlex powered and a touch of gum arabic for binding.
Any other questions feel free to hit me up!
