christy 8/60

neuland done with a brush marker. you can also make this style with the cheap kids markers. just hold the marker very flat against the paper so you make as wide a strike as possible. you'll have to twist and turn your hand, your arm and the paper to make these letters.

  1. i give myself an F on that R. it is droopy. that is a serious no-no. but....that's what this blog is about. seeing the mistakes so you don't make them again. did anyone see this one and wonder about it before i mentioned it? there is another one. can anyone spot it?

  2. Maybe the Y? It looks a little lonely somehow.

  3. yes, the Y is lonely or weak. the S is the one that offends my. the way the bottom trails down. although there are old fashioned esses that do that. on this one, it really bothers me the way it comes to a point rather than staying nice and square

  4. Oh, OK. I kinda liked the 'S' - it reminded me of a "shazam" or lightning bolt.
