Mary does some adorable drawing on her envelopes and this one included some lovely winter photographs. As I write this in early January - I have been enjoying all the snow photos from Tahoe. Nine-ten feet of snow. The rest of California is not enjoying their weather. Maybe there will be a silver lining in the form of water to reduce the drought situation....

Here is a fun off-topic add-on for anyone who grew up in the far north and is now living in the deep south - or those of us who grew up in Minnesota and only moved one state south - but are still nostalgic for the sound of crunching snow.
Three and a half hours of crunching snow -- the scenery is pretty. I think it was filmed in Washington. No time (at the moment) to do a deep dive - but, hope to come back. I seriously doubt anyone would watch the whole thing. But if you ever enjoyed crunching through the snow - it is very nostalgic.
Love this envelope! Sharon
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how that one would go through. It doesn't look like they canceled the stamp. I like to push the envelope when it comes to stamp placement and writing the names and addresses in the "requested by the post office" way.
