Bonus post - Christmas card video

Scroll down to see today's blog - and sign-up for the Dec exchange.

I am seldom interested in anything from the Victorian era - but this video turned out to have some charmingly odd examples of Victorian Christmas cards. It includes the very first Christmas card and a little history about how they caught on.

My clear favorite is this one --- charming and odd, don't you agree?

They say it is a brief history - it's 14 minutes -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdULP-VYuXk

  1. Very....interesting. We live in a Queen Ann Victorian built in 1885 by E. Townsend Mix. It is beautiful inside and out with scrolled hinges and pocket doors. Victorian isn't really my style, but the architecture was lovely.
