Mia sent images of envelopes she sent in December. It's fun to see the variations in her design. She used the same style of lettering - but varied the size and color - and Grace's is on a wavy base line. There is also variation in the amount of space left open. They all work beautifully.
On Dec 17 when we were going through 10 ideas from Christoph - I wrote that I might come back to the topic of people who are not happy with anything they do. This is another one of those spectrum things. Some people take the critique and go a little overboard. Others are perfectly satisfied with whatever they do - even though to some eyes - it has room for improvement.
All of this is soooo subjective. There is very little agreement on what is good and what is mediocre and what is bad. IMHO, the heated debates over the quality of artwork are a bit of a distraction. Beware of anyone who is ranting and raving. While they are on their soapbox - they do not realize that the *problem* is actually -them- or maybe not - all I know for sure is that I mostly leave the whole topic on the back burner.
