Here is another great idea for Skip's birthday. I love the choice of stamp. Mama elephant with her little calf. Is calf the right term? I'm alway curious about what my kids actually think about me. Personally, I was not in sync with my own mom, from an early age. Nothing serious - she just wasn't creative enough for me. None of my kids are *artsy* - so I figure they might not feel in sync with me, but at least they are too polite to say anything. That part of me that recognizes sports-crazed-kids as being equivalent to art-crazed-kids feels like the boys appreciated my support of their sports. Of course, my daughter and I are close on mom related things.
