August had a bumper crop of ideas that I would like to appropriate. Susan makes me wish I had not been so thorough in the hoard reduction of my vintage stamps. But - PLEASE, dear readers - do not take that comment as an invitation to send me vintage stamps. It was a very slippery slope and I am determined to stay in the world of Forever stamps. Current Jean is very disciplined. Maybe there is a way to do this with just one Forever stamp. Maybe this idea only works because they are flowers.

Back in mid-August - I noticed that Leslie had a new post on her blog - featuring blackout poetry. This link takes you to the blog - I'm not sure how often she posts. Scroll back to Aug 9th to see the post that described her first blackout poems.

Back in 2015-2019 - Finnbadger started a new blog for blackout poetry. I submitted a couple.

This is one I did -- it's lame as a poem - but, it was fun to do.
I think some people use the term *found poetry* or *erasure poetry* - it's a very deep rabbit hole - just Google any (or all) of the terms
