CathyO photocopied fabric to use on this envelope and also punched out some flowers. The address is in a label that is adhered to the envelope - a good idea I keep thinking I need to try. Now that we have a postal worker in the family and I can hear insider comments such as this one, "Once you see how the mail travels through the system, it becomes surprising that any of it gets there." He was referring to how much mail gets chewed up by the machines. I'll jabber more about this in another post. As always, CathyO's lettering is lovely. I like that O in Des MOines with a dot in the center.
The time is speeding by and I am scrambling to fill up all of October because I am pondering a 2 week trip to Chicago. The weekend trip in Sept worked out and energized me so, I figure 2 weeks might be just as energizing and Mr Wilson might want a 2 week vacation from being the caregiver. Me taking off used to be a normal part of our routine and he never complained when I was gone - so I deduced that he enjoyed the alone time.
I have 13 posts lined up that need words and can't think of a good rant - so I will delve into a folder in my email that is labeled: put on blog. There are 24 very random items that at one time or another I thought might be good filler if I ever ran out of things to talk about. Warning, they are very random - and off-topic. But, I will feel really good when I empty the folder.

Here is a video about the peacock chair that is on soooo many album covers - mostly from the days when there were records and record players (or stereo systems). There are probably a few readers who remember what records are.
