this is done with a gray glaze pen. they have a very broad roller ball. the ink takes a while to dry and then it is shiny, like glaze. the style was just some random doodling idea. i like the ALEX, but not too happy with the rest of it....need to play around with it a little more. it is filled in with colored pencil. the address will be in tiny blue letters to match the ones on the stamp.
I wonder if the middle A and the N would be better as angular capital letters rather than more rounded lower case ones, to fit better with the angular look of the first part?
ReplyDeletemaybe the cap N would work - but the angles on the A were going to be too similar to the X. although i will do some testing with a pencil to see if it works. you never know until you try....
