cathy green daisy

i tried that big sharpie daisy design one more time and i just had to add some dots. while i like the symmetry of the whole project - at a certain point i just have to put in something that does not fit with the pattern.
i hope i don't mess it up when i put in the real address. i'm going to actually mail this one. you can see the faint mississississississippi across the petal
the name will go above and the street and zip below.

i will be curious to hear from alyce on whether she is late to another appointment because she is mesmerized by the flower. it does have sort of a hypnotic quality to it.

  1. I'm thinking I must try one of those flowers too sometime! Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. That flower is amazing - bright, fresh & modern, just like the accompanying stamp. It should have been a print on last night' Project Runway challenge ;)

  3. that is such a good program for illustrating design challenges. there have been two people this season who did very well with the use of writing. i keep waiting for someone to do some kind of homage to mail or stamps....

  4. I bet some of the designers' sketches would make great stamps.

  5. I actually have been busy putting the finishing touches on a class I taught last Saturday. I will definitely be doing this design again. I like this one better than the last. I'm mailing the one I did tomorrow. I'm anxious to hear the reaction when it is received.

  6. Envelope successfully arrived at it's destination and was enjoyed by it's recipient. I'll definitely do this again when I have time.
