probably suede pen with sumi...i quite like those pens, for one thing since the business end is fabric, one can easily alter the texture of the stroke...they come in a several widths and, of course, john neal carries them i really like those stamps, too...the sheet bore several stamps all different and i may have used them all, at least most, on these birthday envelopes jean, you should address these birthday envelopes sometime and send them on the road in that box discussed below
Though maybe the box shouldn't contain all at once - imagine our dismay if the entire collection became lost in the mail!! I like the suede pens, too, and the sumi almost looks like walnut ink on the cream paper - very lovely.
You've jogged my memory, and now I have total blog deja vu - somewhere someone has commented before about sumi on cream looking like walnut. I have no idea why I'm up at 4 am, but as long as I'm here, I might as well start searching for the other comment.

I think I tried airbrush acrylics once in the suede pens - also not the best idea I've ever had. As you can see by the time, I had to go back to bed for a while. Do you suppose anyone else has noticed the anomaly of the two of us awake before dawn, and Jean's posts a day behind? Must have been a good wedding, but if she needs us to take over the blog, we are going to have to turn it into a night-people production.
re: risking the loss of envelopes when we start mailing the traveling exhibit to each other....we won't use the p.o. we will use ups or fed-ex ground. they are more reliable....
i really like this idea of a traveling exhibit...btw, are we all rested...i had a nap and beddie-byes came at 8:30 mountain [greatly aided by trying to watch the movie, wild blue yonder by wener herzog.]
I like the idea of a traveling exhibit also - and, truthfully, I'm probably still willing to help organize a gallery exhibit or two. Just imagine - *Pushing the Envelopes: The International Mail Art Collection from Jean Wilson's Blog.* Definitely ups or fed-ex, but we won't put that on the postcards - it'll add that ironic edge that I so love.
