it took me forever to find my name and address. i guess my brain was assuming that the blah-blah-blah on the green arrows was something about recycling. i couldn't figure out how the envelope got to my house.
and sadly, i lost the article i read the day after that envelope arrived that explained exactly why things that are right under your nose can be so hard to see. i think it is leftover DNA from when we were cave people and didn't have to think about the post office. the black johnny cash stamp is quite nice if you are into the dark side of halloween.
And Jean, more Forever stamps with deceased people that might be dark side of Halloween-worthy... Édith Piaf (black background), Ray Charles (in a Halloween-appropriate orange shirt), Miles Davis (black background), Gregory Peck (black background), quite a lot of the 20th century poets (black and white).
Glad you liked it, I was a bit worried about the diagonal parts of the address, but hadn't taken your brain into account.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of brains, I wish there were some good current Halloween stamps.

ReplyDeleteand the hollywood movie monster stamps might work, too
ReplyDeleteHi, katy, the monster stamps are great, and would be perfect - if only they were forever stamps.
