Some of the unfinished are stepping stones to bigger and better things. I inherited boxes of my grandma's (seamstress/baker/crafter) unfinished projects. Maybe I'll get to those miniature sock monkeys in all states of finish and maybe I won't, but I'll never want for something to do! Projects allow you to put off doing the things other people think you should be doing. My motto is, "I'd hate to die tomorrow and have spent my last day cleaning."
